Can you imagine the emotional roller coaster ride of the early followers of Jesus?  The leader they love is crucified, three days later he rises from the dead, only to leave them 40 days later when he ascends to heaven.  But 10 days later his Spirit arrives and fills each one of them, so that just weeks after his ascension, they are now doing the works that previously only Jesus did.  And think of it... now Jesus wants to work through YOU to do the same kinds of things!
