Jesus

He's What We're All About

One Family.

ONE FAMILY. There is a deep fellowship that we are meant to experience when being part of the church. It is a fellowship that resembles family in many ways. As this fellowship becomes our experience we will see the Holy Spirit ignite growth, relational depth and prayer in our lives.

One Story.

ONE STORY. The church’s story is a collection of individual stories that find their significance in the one larger story of Jesus. When attaching our story to his historically significant story, we find transformational power that is the catalyst to real change.

One Mission.

ONE MISSION. The church, as one family, provides an opportunity to join one mission. That mission is to invite others to experience and respond to God’s love by centering our life on the person and work of Jesus.

Get to Know our Ministry Leaders

The pastors and ministry directors of NorthBridge lead, shepherd, teach, love, and serve the church family, equipping and mobilizing the people of NorthBridge to effectively raise up disciples of Jesus and to reach the spiritually lost with the good news of the gospel. In partnership with the Elder Team, the Pastoral Team works to discern where God is leading and seeks to align our ministry around God’s vision for NorthBridge.

Mark + Michelle Albrecht

Lead Pastor | Worship Arts Director

Mark and Michelle felt a call from God to move to Antioch to start NorthBridge in 2001. They dreamed of planting a church that demonstrated the love of Christ by blessing the community in tangible ways—a ministry that birthed new churches and intentionally raised up the next generation of leaders. Now after 20 years, they feel like they have had a front row seat to watch God fulfill that vision, building the church one story at a time!

Drew Litwiller

NB Students Pastor

Drew Litwiller has the best job in the world serving as the Pastor of Student Ministries! He sees students as a vital part of the church NOW, and believes that their passion can lead the way in bringing life to their communities. Drew has been on staff at NorthBridge since 2019. Other than hanging out with students, Drew likes spending his time with his wife, Hannah, and their two boys, listening to oldies music, laughing often, and reading The Lord of the Rings.

Cody Albrecht

NB Music Director

Cody’s heart is for people to have consistent, transformative encounters with their Heavenly Father each Sunday morning through worship. On top of this, he is also passionate about seeing volunteers and youth grow in becoming empowered to lead worship themselves. Cody graduated from Bethel University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Growing up in the church, Cody had no plans of going into ministry, but in college through their local worship nights, the Lord truly tugged on his heart in a fresh, intimate way that not only re-kindled his relationship with God, but also his love for worship. Cody resides in Kenosha with his wife Brenna, daughter Quincee and soon-to-be second child coming May 2022.

Elder Team

The Elder Team is the governing authority over our entire ministry. The New Testament calls the Elders to be true shepherds who model godly lives and serve the church family by providing general watchcare for the flock. The Elder team is composed of NorthBridge partners who are non-paid staff members and have been nominated by the congregation. The Senior Pastor is also one of the Elders, and together, this team of Elders is accountable to God and the congregation for the spiritual health and strategic direction of the church.

Residents & Interns

It is the aim of NorthBridge to honor God by reaching, inspiring and training up the next generation of the church to impact lives and influence the prevailing culture with the truth of Jesus Christ.

The NorthBridge Church internship and residency programs are a greenhouse for emerging church leaders. Interns and residents will experience growth through experiential learning, intentional training, and practice leading in a missional environment. Areas of focus include family ministries, general pastoral, women’s ministry, children’s ministry, worship, creative arts, and church planting.

Matt felt a call to ministry after leaving a local family business which he helped operate for over 20 years. He has a degree in Pastoral Studies with an emphasis in Theology from Christian Life College. Matt is married to Heidi and has two teenagers, Autumn and Michael. His favorite verse is Gen 15:6 “Abram believed God and He credited it to him as righteousness” When not at church you can find Matt with a book in his hand sipping on coffee or listening to podcasts while cooking with his wife.

Becka Fierstine

Worship Intern

As an intern, Becka is learning a lot about the behind-the-scenes preparations for worship as well as growing in musical, leadership and public speaking skills. She began singing and leading worship on Sunday mornings during COVID which led to her taking on the worship department for True North (NorthBridge's middle school student ministry). She has proven to be an incredible asset, leader and vocalist. Her growth over the past year has been nothing short of remarkable and God-given.

Josh Anderson

Programming/Tech Intern

Josh gets to work closely with the Worship Arts Director and Music Director to help prepare/plan services for Sunday mornings and any special mid-week services. While attending NorthBridge's high school youth group, he found purpose and passion in tech and proved to be a sponge for learning new equipment. It was there that he found his passion and spiritual gifts for serving the church and worshiping God. In regards to technology, there is truly nothing Josh cannot do or cannot learn to do in a few hours! He has championed and truly revolutionized our lighting department as well as trained countless volunteers on lights, sound, visual media, stage setup and all things AV.

Our Beliefs

It is the aim of NorthBridge to honor God by reaching, inspiring and training up the next generation of the church to impact lives and influence the prevailing culture with the truth of Jesus Christ.
