God has a mission in this world. He calls on his people to fulfil that mission. Life happens, and his people are distracted, discouraged, and abandon the mission for their self-preservation. He sent his prophet to remind them about his mission, and the people repented and obeyed to fulfill it. He assures them of his presence and provisions if they return to the mission. Prophet Haggai speaks to us today to get our priorities right with God and live on God’s mission. God promises to be with us, bless us, and grant us his Shalom.
