How many people live in a sea of people and yet feel totally alone?  The body of Christ is called to "welcome one another" with the open arms of Christ.  Welcoming might start on a Sunday, but the dream of Christian community goes far beyond a brief greeting in the lobby after a worship service.  To offer the welcome of Christ is to learn to open our homes, our tables, and our lives to one another.  And as we do, we discover that the time-honored practice of hospitality is instrumental in forming us into people who look more and more like Jesus.
