On Mother's Day, we honor the multiple ways women nurture their families, friends, and communities. In the biblical story of Ruth, we see that Jesus nurtures Ruth through the kindness of Boaz, renewing her strength. We also experience renewal and transformation as we accept Jesus' invitation to be nurtured by His breath of life. He is our perfect nurturer.
