Made by History

Our 19-week study of the book of Acts has reached its conclusion. Throughout this time, we've discovered that the history we witness shapes our learning and identity. In today's sermon, we delve into the narratives presented in Acts, exploring the challenges faced by the early followers of Jesus – and importantly, how these challenges remain relevant for us today. This examination of resistance also uncovers its potential to fortify us. The instances of transformation, both in the ordinary and the unremarkable, are evident. Central to this is the concept of personal investment, where individuals openly shared their encounters of how Jesus has transformed their lives.

If you weren't able to attend Sunday's sermon, I encourage you to explore the six key takeaways that emphasize the profound influence of history on our formation and how we can effectively live out the principles of the gospel in our present time.
