"Since then you have been raised to new life with Christ..."  There is a powerful assumption in Paul's words. To be united with Christ means to be raised to new life, elevated to a new and better kind of living. We are urged to focus our hearts and minds on this vertical reality, this heavenly truth. And as we do, we begin to experience the power of God lifting us and empowering us to live on an entirely different plane. Living increasingly like Jesus is possible, but we must "Get Vertical" in our orientation.
