What do you do when you are disappointed with God? For some, they turn away. For others, they still take part in church and spiritual activities, but only in a half-hearted way. Thankfully, God has made a way for us to reach out to Him, even in the midst of our frustration and heartache. The psalms of lament are a gift from God that give us the language to cry out to God and show us how to begin on a pathway out of our discouragement and despair.
