After the risen Jesus spent 40 days on Earth and ascended to Heaven, His work in the world only just began. The book of Acts chronicles how in just 30 years, the message of Jesus moves from a small geographical area to the world. But it is not a nationalist or militaristic movement, rather it is a revolution of love, peace, and new life. And this great revolution continues now in the 21st century, calling us to join in by living in community, practicing the His teachings, serving those in need, and sharing the message of Jesus in new spaces.
