For decades, the church has talked about the importance of discipleship, but this term seems to have been drained of its meaning and significance.  When Jesus invited people to follow him, it wasn’t to merely be a Christian or a churchgoer.  What he really invited them to do was to “apprentice” under him – to follow in his way in order to find deep life in God and to increasingly become like him.  The idea of “apprenticeship” to Jesus changes much of how we understand the Christian life.  Discover what the apprenticing journey looks like and how it leads to a life of flourishing.
