Quarantine Quandaries

It’s been said that tough times build character, but before they build character, they usually reveal it.  We have all experienced difficulties of many kinds due to the pandemic and the shutdown.  And in the process, this quarantine has revealed things about each one of us, allowing us to see the quandary of our own character deficiencies.  Seeing these cracks in our character can be an opportunity to invite God to do deeper work within us.  And when we do, the Spirit of God is always going to be ready to form the marks of a true disciple within us – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  (Galatians 5:22-23)
