Aaron Brown – Elder

Aaron Brown has been a part of NorthBridge Church since spring 2010. He and his wife, KC live in Antioch with their three children, Morgan, Jason, and Tyler. Aaron serves as the leader of our Prayer Team, is a Group Life leader, is a part of our Finance Team, and a teacher for the “Discover Your Bible” Milestone Parent Seminar. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys spending time with family, SCUBA diving, travel, photography, tinkering with computers and networking, computer gaming, landscaping, and golf. As a part of the Elder Team, Aaron enjoys being a part of shaping NorthBridge’s future and using his spiritual gifts of administration and serving to shepherd the congregation. A fun fact about Aaron, is that he is blessed to have traveled to a lot of different locations around the world because of his work as a medical device engineer. As a result, he has had an opportunity to try a lot of different foods and is willing to taste almost anything once!

Tim Callanan – Elder

Tim Callanan has been a part of NorthBridge Church since 2004. He and his wife, Carrie live in Antioch and have three grown children, Ryan, Tom, and Lindsay. Tim began serving at NorthBridge as team leader for our setup team for 10 years. In 2008 he became the leader of our Ironmen Men’s Ministry and has led many men’s small groups over the years. Tim is currently a leader of the Common Cause Retiree group known as the ROMEOS. He enjoys working around the house, golfing, traveling, and bike riding. Tim is looking forward to getting involved with the direction of our church, working with a great team of dedicated servants as a part of the Elder Team, and is seeking to allow this time as an elder to help him continue to grow spiritually. A fun fact about Tim, is that he comes from a very large family, he has 6 brothers and sisters and 45 cousins! Tim’s maternal grandmother and great grandmother both lived to be 103 years old, and thinks his mom, who is 88, will also.

Matt Carlson – Elder

Matt Carlson has been a part of NorthBridge Church since the winter of 2013. He and his wife Itzel live in Round Lake with their children, Zaidie, Ethan, and Evelyn. Matt has served as a co-leader with our Group Life ministry, is a part of a discipleship cohort group, and serves on our setup/teardown team. In his spare time, Matt enjoys kayaking, captaining and playing on a recreational basketball team, playing softball, and tinkering with technology projects at home. He is humbled and excited to be a part of the Elder Team, a group of Godly men following God and assisting in leading NorthBridge. He looks forward to seeing God continue to work in amazing ways in our church. A fun fact about Matt, is that he was homeschooled for every year of his education except fourth grade when he attending a small private school.

Dave Magnuson – Elder

Dave Magnuson has been a part of NorthBridge Church since 2017 at the Grand Opening Celebration of our new building! He and his wife Caryn live in Gurnee and have a daughter, Grace and three adult sons, Trent, Caleb, and Nathan. Dave serves as a Group Life leader and has been involved with our ShareFest projects. In his spare time, Dave enjoys spending time with friends and family, and exercising/working out. As a member of the Elder Team, he is looking forward to getting to know the other men on the team and working with them to follow God’s leading for the ministry at NorthBridge. He is praying that the church will continue to grow in it’s impact on the community and that many people will be drawn to Jesus through the way we serve and love. A fun fact about Dave is that his relative, Keith Magnuson, was a popular player with the Chicago Blackhawks!

Mark Albrecht – Elder/Lead Pastor

Mark is our Senior Pastor at NorthBridge Church and also serves on our Elder Team. With a team of 40 people, he planted the church in 2001 and has been encouraged by the relationships with God and others that have developed since. He grew a heart for ministry when he was a teenager working at a Christian summer camp and went on to work as a youth pastor in the Pittsburgh area. Pastor Mark went to school to receive his Masters of Christian Education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. America. Mark, his wife Michelle live in Antioch, have a son Cody and daughter-in-law Brenna, and he is a die-hard Cubs fan.
