Ministry role: I am a part-time Ministry Assistant and have the blessing of helping with a variety of office and data base tasks each day.

Your family: I’ve been married to Maurice since 1989 and we have 2 married sons, and 1 beautiful granddaughter.

Education: BS in Accounting from University of MN which is also where I met Maurice.

Dream vacation: Australian Open Tennis Tournament. We are avid tennis fans and it is on our bucket list to attend all the grand slam events.

One thing most people don’t know about me: In 2004, I was a ballon holder in the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade with my bookclub girlfriends.  We carried the ballon “”Larry Boy” in the parade.  There was even ballon training school we needed to attend.

Been in ministry since: Doing Ministry since 2005 in a variety of roles consisting of bible study leader to leading a team at a food pantry.

When and where did you get saved: June 2004, at a church service when I finally put all the pieces together and fully understood Jesus had died specifically for me.

Fears: Don’t like spiders!!

In my spare time I like to: Bike, but it’s always more fun if you add food to the mix.

Favorite scripture: Be still and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10)

Favorite TV show: Madame Secretary

Previous job or line of work: I’ve been doing some type of accounting work since high school and worked for different companies in that capacity over the years.

Music that moves me: Christian Music always fills me with joy

Life-changing moment: Marrying my hubby and losing my kidney to cancer and now awaiting a kidney transplant.

What sport are you not good at? Golf-it is one sport I do not understand.

What makes you laugh? Hanging with my granddaughter

Most adventurous thing you’ve ever done: Mission trip to South Africa
