Together, we raised a total of $3,850 for the very first Fight the Crisis 5K! We donated $2,600 to Live4Lali and $1,250 to the A Way Out Program (part of the Lake County Opioid Initiative). We are in awe of your generosity and so were our benefiting organizations. Take a look!

“We have a scholarship fund for the A Way Out graduates, there are a bunch of criteria, but many times people leaving rehab do not have a place to go or clothes to wear. We provide small stipends for clothes, down payments at sober housing, and basic necessities…The other fund we have is a program we have for volunteers who sit with the clients while we wait for placement. We make sure they have the tools to keep the client from losing the will to stay and wait for treatment. This is water, soda, snacks, and miscellaneous things that the police department may or may not have. This funding also includes some operational support as well, for volunteers who have to come out at odd times. “
