The Christian life is one of tension. However, in His perfect obedience, Jesus sets us free from the tension of trying to fulfill the requirement of the law. We are free then to love and serve both God and others. When we walk in the Holy Spirit He will help us to live a life of love and service. He will do this by helping us to deny the desires of our flesh and bear fruit for the good of others through our surrendered lives.
