We are excited to announce that Brad Bridges will be joining the NorthBridge staff as the Pastor of Family & Student Ministries. Brad has 15 years of ministry experience and brings a wide background to our team.
Among his many roles, Brad has served as a Youth Leader, an Associate Pastor, a missionary, a Lead Pastor, and a church consultant. Most recently Brad has been teaching Spanish at Christian Life School, while also working on his doctorate at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Brad has been part of the NorthBridge family for five years where he has served as an Elder, Stepping Stones teacher, and Starting Point Environment Leader.
Brad is a highly relational person who loves young people and brings incredible energy to all he does. His great passion is the development of leaders and in unleashing the potential of leaders and ministry teams. Brad will be overseeing all our ministries, team leaders, and staff members who work with our children and students. This includes our Milestone Moments and parent equipping efforts. He will be helping to develop a cohesive and effective overall plan for disciplemaking from birth to high school graduation.
Brad will be supporting the great work of Kelly Mohrbacher and Jean Corley as they lead our ministries to children. He will oversee our Junior High ministry which is currently led by our staff resident, Drew Litwiller, who recently completed seminary and is now starting his third year of serving with our middle school students. And for now, Brad will be hands-on in ministering to high school students and building up that ministry team.
Brad’s better half is Lindsey, who leads our MOPS ministry and serves in Stepping Stones. She also is the mom to three young children – Shiloh (8), Jacob (5), and George (3).
Brad and Lindsey both have demonstrated effective leadership and servant hearts in their five years with us. They are a great example of a family living on mission, and we are blessed to have Brad now serving in this vital role as we take our next steps in effectively ministering to young people and raising up the emerging generation of leaders. Please join us in praying for the Bridges and in encouraging Brad as he takes on this new role.
