Ministry Description: |
This is our children’s ministry and Sunday school program for children from birth to grade 5. We need persons who can teach as well as administrators, floaters, assistants and classroom volunteers. You must have a desire to work with children. Pleasant, cheerful attitudes are helpful.
• After a decision has been made re: the best fit for service, each person (18 and over) must attend a Child Abuse Prevention class before being put in a responsible position with the children.
• Our service schedule runs for 8 weeks and will be published again in the beginning of July. We ask teachers and assistants to serve 4 weeks in a row beginning in the fall.

1. Classroom volunteer –
Helping the teacher and/or assistant in the assigned classroom as needed. Contact Kelly Mohrbacher to schedule a date.
2. Registration Shadow –
Help greet parents and children as they come in; help them locate the proper name badges. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone that would rather not be in a classroom environment. Contact Kelly Mohrbacher to schedule a date.
3. Baby Lover –
Help to hold, play with and enjoy our youngest students. Contact Kelly Mohrbacher to schedule a quick training session.
5. Administrative Support – 3 hours a week (Non-Sunday Commitment)
Collect and record classroom attendance on our church database and generate reports for the teachers. Alphabetize the name tags, make copies of curriculum or activity pages for the teachers and mail out schedules. Kelly Mohrbacher will work on a voluntary schedule that works for both.
6. Party Planner (Non-Sunday Commitment)
You will provide creative ideas, help to plan and help organize a celebration for our current teachers as well as 2 family events per year. Meet with Kelly Mohrbacher at the Ministry Center. |
